When will architects realize that these high-rise projects are a terrible idea.

Not only do they alienate people and create social problems, they are less efficient than mid rise buildings 6-8 stories tall.

A truly “green” city would be 6-8 stories tall and would recognize the need for ecological as well as social sustainability.

This project was submitted to an international competition that was won by the JV of Tabanlioglu and EAA, both Turkish architectural firms.
